Brown & Brown is seeking an Administrative Assistant - Regulatory and Legislative Strategy to join our growing team! 

 

The Administrative Assistant will provide high-level administrative support to our National Regulatory and Legislative Strategy team. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of handling a wide range of responsibilities with discretion and professionalism. Copy editing skills are important to the success of the Administrative Assistant role. 

 

How You Will Contribute: 

 

  • Manage the Regulatory and Legislative Strategy team’s internal and external meetings and webinars.
  • Coordinate calendars between the National Regulatory and Legislative Strategy team and local/regional benefits consultants. 
  • Handle key reports on workflow and efficiency within the Regulatory and Legislative Strategy team. 
  • Organize and coordinate events, conferences, and travel arrangements. 
  • Draft and proofread correspondence, articles, reports, and presentations. 
  • Serve as a liaison between the Regulatory and Legislative Strategy team, customers, and internal teammates. 
  • Coordinate with Marketing, manage electronic systems, and ensure all work product is up to date. 
  • Assist with various special projects and day-to-day operations of the Regulatory and Legislative Strategy team. 

 

Skills & Experience to Be Successful: 
 

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in other administrative roles supporting a national team. 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a background in copy editing and formatting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other office management software. 
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism. 
  • A high level of attention to detail and problem-solving ability. 
  • Flexibility and adaptability to manage changing priorities and deadlines. 

Pay Range

$25.00 - $28.00 Hourly

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
