Job description

UMB’s Corporate Trust and Escrow Services is a nationally recognized and ranked provider of bond trustee and agency services to the corporate and municipal marketplaces. Our trust services reach beyond traditional offerings to servicing aviation, reinsurance and funeral trusts, while our agency business provides solutions for escrow and other transactional needs. Our team provides bond trustee and agency services to municipal and corporate issuers of taxable or tax-exempt debt. We also provide escrow-related and custodial services to corporations, not-for-profits, partnerships, and other business entities and individuals.  

The Corporate Trust Compliance Specialist Team Manager will lead and provide guidance and direction to an assigned team of Corporate Trust Compliance Specialist. This role will also be able to handle all levels of responsibilities that the Corporate Trust Compliance Specialist level I and II perform in ensuring Corporate Trust Admin team is following procedures and reducing risk to the department.

How you’ll spend your time:  

  • You will provide guidance to direct reports and manage day-to-day issues as they arise
  • You will perform initial reviews of paying agent, trustee and escrow accounts to test compliance with document provisions and departmental procedures.
  • You will prepare summaries of review findings for reporting to the Corporate Trust Management Committee.  Prepare reports monthly for CT Management & CT Administration staff.
  • You will test compliance with specific procedures and report testing results to Compliance Officer and/or Department Manager.
  • Makes recommendations to management on changes to administrative or new business policies and procedures.

Compensation Range:

$69,230.00 - $149,000.00

The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMB’s standard for this role, but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors.
