Procter & Gamble is looking for a skilled and innovative Java Software Developer (Mid) to join our dynamic development team.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications that meet our clients' needs.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, propose solutions, and implement robust software solutions.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality, scalable, and efficient software applications using various programming languages such as Java, React on frontend.

  • Develop high-quality, scalable, and efficient software applications using Java, Vanilla JS and Typescript

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze software requirements, ensuring a thorough understanding of project objectives.

  • Design and implement software solutions that adhere to industry best practices, coding standards, and project guidelines.

  • Perform thorough testing and debugging of software applications to ensure optimal functionality and performance.

  • Continuously optimize software applications to improve efficiency, scalability, and user experience.

  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in software development, applying them to enhance our development processes.

  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.

  • Document software design, development processes, and project progress to facilitate future enhancements and maintenance.

Job Qualifications

REQUIRED

  • Practical and hands on experience in software development in JAVA with OOP Spring Boot

  • Hands on experience configuring CI/CD tools

  • Experience with SCRUM and DevOps methodologies.

  • A Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Engineering or related field.

  • The ability to work independently.

  • Fluent in English.

QUALIFICATIONS (PREFERRED)

  • Strong problem-solving skills paired with experience in programming languages

  • Experience using source control management (git) to collaboratively build software: branching, merging, code reviews

  • Understand CI/CD technologies and DevOps philosophies

  • Experience with Web Services, JavaScript frameworks (Vanilla JS and Typescript) or Spring, XML, REST Technologies

  • Detail-oriented mindset, with a focus on delivering high-quality and well-structured code.

  • Experience with cloud native development on Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud Platform.

  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to teammates and non-technical colleagues.
