This position is a REMOTE opportunity.

Ideal candidate should have instructional design experience.

This role will support the Revenue Cycle Team in the Medical Coding Department.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate and consult with subject matter experts, site instructional designers and Sr. Instructional Designers to design and develop effective and efficient learning solutions based on sound adult learning principles and industry best practices.
  • Organize, prioritize, coordinate and implement multiple projects within established timelines using effective project management skills.
  • Utilize a variety of instructional methodologies to create a high level of teammate participation through various channels that drive learning and increased knowledge (e.g. experiential learning, mobile learning, micro learning, social learning, blended learning, video-based learning, animation, infographics, gamification, augmented reality and virtual instructor-led).
  • Structure and organize content in a way that is easy to process and engage the learner using diverse methodologies (e.g. writing, storytelling, scenarios, layout, imagery, feedback, self-discovery, and activities) that are applicable to the learners.
  • Effectively express ideas and thoughts verbally and visually to match the audience and delivery method. Deliverables must be clear, concise and grammatically correct.
  • Ensure there is little to no duplication of content across the learning offered in the Learning Management System, always keeping a enterprise-focus for the content that is developed.
  • Develop and maintain database integrity and department policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Ensure that the learning management system (LMS) is used accordingly and courses are built to meet the system requirements.

Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Education, or other related fields

Experience Required: 2 years of experience using the full Articulate 360 suite for digital learning creation and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience using Vyond, Camtasia and Microsoft Planner as a project management tool preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Knowledge of best practice adult learning and development theory, methods, research and strategies applied in large organizations.
  • Skills in influencing and developing others who are not direct reports in order to move toward common goals and outcomes.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to interact with executives, management, physicians, and team members at all levels.Abililty to work effectively in a diverse work group and with a wide range of audiences consisting of different generations, cultures, and learning styles.
  • Ability to navigate and establish priorities in an often ambiguous environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with troubleshooting, communication, analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to independently manage projects, anticipates road-blocks, and engage appropriate resources to ensure timely delivery.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • This position is 100% remote. The ability to work remotely from home is required.
  • Where limited travel is required there will be exposure to weather and road conditions.  
  • Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.

Pay Range

$30.15 - $45.25
