The Head of Network Strategy & Development is an essential role to our success in the European Business Unit of the Husqvarna Forest & Garden (HFG) Division. This role will be the responsible for defining the future state as well as further developing and professionalizing our strong dealer network across Europe, implement strategic initiatives and be a senior business partner to our country teams in their local dealer operations. They will be supported by the central Sales Operations team and have strong collaboration with other channel leads as well as aftermarket and marketing teams functions.

Summary of responsibilities

  • Network Strategy & Planning
    • strategic: shape the dealer network of 2030 and drive the transformation
    • tactical level: lead annual network planning with our local sales teams
  • Multi-channel Development
    • key contributor to developing developing contractual and commercial frameworks in collaboration with the multi-channel team
  • Dealer Network Governance
    • govern the dealer network through country and EU-level review cycles
    • define standards for contractual and commercial agreements/terms as well as processes for dealer appointment, onboarding, dismissal, and auditing
    • define the customer experience level and drive customers’ satisfaction
  • Dealer Performance & Risk Management
    • implement dealer performance management and effective means to monitor the financial health of the dealer network
    • develop the existing dealer segmentation and increase network efficiency
    • build and maintain a robust dealer master data stack
  • Dealer Enablement
    • enable the network’s success through upskilling initiatives, incl. training
    • make dealing with Husqvarna more convenient for our dealer network by driving integration of dealer support systems
  • Service Network Strategy & Development
    • develop the network’s ability to generate revenue through services
    • with our after-market team, implement dealer operating standards
  • Leadership
    • lead and mentor team members, build dealer network expertise
    • functional leadership and guidance of local sales managers, sales ops teams, and other dealer-facing teams
