Senior Product Specialist

 

 

Location: Office-Based/Hybrid/Home-Based, US

 

Position Summary:

 

Bentley is looking for a Senior Product Specialist to join our Mobility team within Solution Engineering. In this role, you will champion and communicate the effective use of OpenPaths software. Your responsibilities will include developing, supporting and communicating best practice transport forecasting applications using OpenPaths tools, ensuring that both current and future users have access to the best and most suitable technologies to excel and innovate in their projects.

 

Your Day-to-Day:

 

  • Provide face-to-face and virtual training on OpenPaths applications
  • Create and deliver proof-of-concepts and demonstrations to users globally
  • Work on a range of projects and tender for opportunities in the field of Mobility
  • Travel to events worldwide to promote the powerful and successful use of OpenPaths software
  • Collaborate with an international team of like-minded peers
  • Leadership and further career opportunities are possible in the future.
  • This is a full-time role expected to work 40 hours per week, office-based, hybrid, or home-based in the US.
  • Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements). The role requires communication with managers, peers, and other colleagues of the company in person (on occasion), and by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling, and meeting functions.
  • The ability to travel globally up to 20%.  

 

What You Bring to The Team:

 

  • Graduate or post-graduate qualifications in transportation science, operations research, related technical, or analytical field is preferred or relevant training and experience
  • At least 3+ years’ experience in the transportation industry
  • Expert-level hands-on experience using OpenPaths EMME
  • Experience in OpenPaths AGENT will be highly favorable but not required
  • Experience in OpenPaths DYNAMEQ and CUBE will be beneficial but not required
  • Fluent in English. Other languages preferable but not required
  • Enjoy working in a team but able to work independently to deadlines
  • Enjoy working directly with users
  • Comfortable speaking to live audiences
