Job description

Cyprus College Limassol is seeking to fill part-time positions of Special Scientists /Instructors for its “Business Administration” program in the following discipline:

  • Introduction to Sociology

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follow the learning and teaching processes as directed by the decisions of the College’s Council.
  • Adhere to the academic learning model set by the College and deliver the curriculum accordingly.
  • Support students in their education at the College.
  • Collaborate with other College departments that have an impact on students’ learning experience and curriculum implementation.
  • Deliver engaging lectures on sociological theories, institutions, social structures, and contemporary issues (Taught in Greek).
  • Foster critical thinking and discussion among students on topics such as culture, inequality, group behaviour, and social change.
  • Develop course content that connects sociology to the context of business and society.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Sociology, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with educational methods suitable for introductory-level students.
  • Excellent communication skills in Greek and English.
  • Ability to relate sociological theory to real-world applications.
  • Technology-oriented.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Very good interpersonal skills.
