What You’ll Do:

\r\nAs a Medical Receptionist, you’ll be the first point of contact for patients and visitors—setting the tone for a positive care experience. You’ll manage front desk operations, patient check-ins, and scheduling, playing a key role in our day-to-day flow and operational success.

Key Responsibilities:
\r\n\r\nGreet patients with warmth, compassion, and professionalism
\r\n\tConfirm and update insurance and demographic details at each visit
\r\n\tSchedule and coordinate provider appointments, adjusting as needed
\r\n\tAssist patients who missed appointments to encourage treatment continuity
\r\n\tHandle prior authorizations and explain patient financial responsibilities
\r\n\tDistribute, verify, and scan forms, including handbooks and intake documents
\r\n\tCollect co-pays and process payments; set up payment plans when needed
\r\n\tMaintain a clean, organized front office and uphold patient confidentiality
\r\n\tProvide courteous, effective communication by phone and in person
\r\n\tParticipate in team huddles and contribute to a supportive work environment
\r\n\t\r\n\r\n
What We’re Looking For:
\r\n\r\nHigh School Diploma required; Associate degree preferred
\r\n\t1+ year of experience in a fast-paced medical office required
\r\n\tCustomer service and/or healthcare experience strongly preferred
\r\n\tProficient with EMRs, Microsoft Office, and phone systems
\r\n\tStrong communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills
\r\n\tCompassionate mindset and a desire to support patients in recovery
\r\n\t\r\n\r\n
