Job description

Our Client, a Health Insurance company, is looking for a Pharmacy Technician for their Remote location.

Responsibilities:

Work on the pharmacy help desk handling prior authorization requests from doctors’ offices.
Requests are received via fax, mail, email, phone and electronic PA system
Receive and respond to member questions about their pharmacy benefit
Work from home – private and quiet workspace required

Requirements:

Retail Pharmacy experience – at least 2 years
Good computer skills (Typing, outlook, excel, etc)
Good fundamental knowledge of drug names and drug classes
The rest of the required skills/experience. Include:
Exceptional Customer Service
Detail Oriented
Ability to multi-task
Willingness to accept change
Call center experience
CMS knowledge
CPhT preferred not required (Certified Pharmacy Tech licensed)
