What you will do

You will play a critical role in tracking regulatory changes, building relationships with government officials, and supporting cross-functional initiatives related to compliance, public affairs, and thought leadership. You will support our engagement with government stakeholders, monitor policy developments, and help drive advocacy strategies.


Responsibilities

  • Monitor and track legislation, regulations, and public policy developments relevant to Clearspeed.
  • Work with outside lobbyists to schedule, coordinate, and summarize engagements with government officials, agencies, and legislative bodies.
  • Assist in drafting policy briefs, position statements, talking points, and correspondence for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support sales team in engaging with government officials, agencies, and legislative bodies.
  • Attend and summarize legislative hearings, briefings, and relevant industry events.
  • Maintain databases of contacts, legislative activity, and advocacy efforts.
  • Coordinate scheduling and logistics for meetings, events, and advocacy campaigns.
  • Assist with grassroots mobilization efforts and communication with stakeholders.
  • Conduct research and analysis on policy issues and political trends.
  • Represent the company at external events, panels, and conferences as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Law, Government, or related field or equivalent experience. 
  • At least 4 years of experience in US government affairs, legislative research, policy analysis, or public sector engagement. 
  • Knowledge of legislative and regulatory processes.
  • Strong research, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Relationship builder with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic communication skills. 
  • Proactive, detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Salary

Salary range is based on national benchmark data of comparable roles, skills and experience level. Exact compensation will be based on individual skills and experience, and location which will be assessed during the interview process. 

Salary Description
Salary range: $94,029 - $147,772 per year
