Job Description

The Scrum Master Sr Consultant II is the facilitator and team level coach for an Agile team and stakeholders, responsible for helping the team embrace agile values, adopt and apply principles, and implement Lean-Agile practices. They reinforce good context specific practices and techniques such as Scrum, XP, WIP limits in Kanban, or other process parameters the team has agreed upon including Definition of Ready (DoR) and the Definition of Done (DoD). The Scrum Master Sr Consultant II helps the team remove impediments and fosters an environment for high-performance, continuous flow, and relentless improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Helps the team create high value products that by removing impediments, and protecting the team from distractions and complacency

  • Coaches the team in scrum values and practices, empiricism, self-organization, cross functionality, continuous improvement

  • Finds techniques for effective backlog management, and ensures the Product Owner knows how to arrange and forecast the product backlog to maximize value

  • Facilitates and/or attends Scrum events as needed, and reinforces the teams agreed upon rules including the definition of ready and definition of done

  • Leads team efforts in relentless improvement by helping team members take responsibility for their actions, facilitating the team retrospectives, and teaching problem-solving techniques.

  • Ensures coordination between teams for integrations

  • Causes change both inside and outside the team, to maximize the value delivered by the team

  • Ensuring that goals, scope, and product domain are understood by everyone on the Scrum Team and that the team understands and practices agility

  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams simultaneously.

  • Knowledge of project management

  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps

Education
  • 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)

Experience
  • 3 or more years of experience (Preferred)

Supervisory Responsibilities
  • This job does not have supervisory duties.

Education & Experience (in lieu)
  • In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Compensation:

  • Base compensation offered for this role is $ 76,200.00 - 118,690.00 USD Annual annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
  • Total compensation for this role is comprised of several factors, including the base compensation outlined above, plus incentive pay (i.e., commission, bonus, etc.) as applicable for the role.
