We are hiring a Head of Capital Formation to lead global fundraising, marketing, and investor relations. This senior role is responsible for building a scalable fundraising function that combines strong relationship management with systematic, data-driven marketing. You will lead a cross-functional team, grow and manage investor pipelines, and contribute to the firm's visibility through strategic content and thoughtful outreach.
Key Responsibilities
Capital Formation & Investor Engagement
Lead and manage global fundraising efforts across venture, hedge, and special situations funds.
Oversee the Investor Relations group to assure best in class investor services
Cultivate and expand direct relationships with institutional investors, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals.
Systematic Marketing & Outreach
Design and execute data-driven marketing campaigns leveraging CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, webinars, digital content, and analytics.
Continuously analyze and optimize marketing strategies based on performance metrics and attribution data.
Strategic Leadership & Team Management
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing Sales and Marketing team committed to excellence and continuous improvement.
Collaborate closely with senior leadership and investment professionals to align capital formation goals with broader firm strategy.
Foster an entrepreneurial, results-driven culture focused on innovation and scalability.
Brand Development & Thought Leadership
Oversee the creation of strategic, investor-centric content including whitepapers, newsletters, webinars, and thought leadership initiatives.
Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies that reinforce the firm's positioning as a leader in digital asset investing.
Represent and promote the firm at industry conferences, events, and investor meetings.
Pipeline & Performance Management
Establish structured pipeline management systems, ensuring effective tracking, follow-up, and conversion of investor opportunities.
Set clear KPIs, regularly report progress and outcomes to senior leadership, and continually refine strategies based on investor feedback and data insights.
Qualifications
10+ years of successful experience in capital formation, investor relations, or strategic marketing within asset management, ideally in crypto, fintech, or alternative investment sectors.
Proven track record in raising capital from institutional investors, family offices, and HNW clients, utilizing both traditional relationship-driven and systematic approaches.
Demonstrated expertise in CRM, marketing automation platforms, digital content strategy, and multi-channel outreach.
Strong leadership abilities with proven experience building and managing effective, cross-functional teams.
Comprehensive understanding of digital assets, blockchain technologies, and investment product structures.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, adept at translating complex investment strategies into compelling narratives.
Entrepreneurial mindset, strategic thinker, and proactive problem-solver comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
Compensation:
$300,000 - $325,000 USD
Compensation range is provided as an estimate and will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
