We are looking for a Promotions Engineer to develop web-based applications that follow established coding standards and technical specifications. You will demonstrate deep proficiency across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from initial requirements gathering and use case development to system design and software architecture.

You will write clean, scalable code; conduct thorough testing; launch production-ready systems; and provide ongoing support for projects. This role may also involve direct collaboration with company partners and external clients to define technical solutions tailored to needs.

We are looking for a candidate who is fluent in technical terminology, able to navigate both industry-standard concepts and platform-specific nuances.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop thoughtful, scalable solutions to complex challenges using modern software development practices.

  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, ensuring high reliability and performance.

  • Debug and troubleshoot implementation issues, collaborating with teams to reach resolutions.

  • Design and implement modular, reusable software services.

  • Stay current with latest technologies and bring approaches to code implementation.

  • Break down complex technical problems into manageable development tasks.

  • Create technical documentation including specifications, deployment instructions, and architectural overviews.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and best practices.

  • Partner with teams to provide high-quality solutions aligned with our goals.

Qualifications
  • 2–5 years of hands-on software development experience.

  • Proficiency in JavaScript or Perl.

  • 2+ years of experience with web technologies (e.g., HTML, XML, HTTP, SSL, TCP/IP) and modern browser behavior and security models.

  • Familiarity with tools such as Apache, Squid, HAProxy, Akamai, or Linux systems administration is desirable.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

The annual salary range for this position is$68,000 - $110,400. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
