Business Analyst (Remote)

Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and motivated Business Analyst to join our team. This position is part-time. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate business needs into actionable insights. As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements, analyze data, and provide recommendations that support business goals.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough analysis of business processes, systems, and data to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
• Develop and present reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings and recommendations.
• Work with cross-functional teams to implement solutions and track their effectiveness.
• Perform data analysis using various tools and techniques to support decision-making.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
• Provide support and training to team members and stakeholders on business analysis tools and methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Active Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications: (Highly desirable):

• Big data background: familiarity with big data projects
• Familiarity or experience with Databricks, MS Fabric, and/or Power BI technologies
• Experienced in monitoring, supporting, and reporting for distributed data systems
• Experience supporting DoD
• Excellent communication skills to convince both business and technical audiences
• Highly driven with strong interpersonal skills. Proven track record of developing relationships at technical, partnership, and executive levels throughout large enterprises
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
• Familiarity with software development tools and technologies.
• PMP or other relevant project management certification is a plus.

Work Location: Remote

Compensation: $92,400 - $138,600.

The salary range posted is based on the national average.  The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s location, knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience, contract affordability, and in consideration of internal parity.
