We are seeking an experienced IT Solution Architect for OT environments to lead the design and implementation of technology solutions that support manufacturing and production processes within the paper industry. This role requires a deep understanding of both IT and OT environments and the ability to integrate these environments to enhance efficiency, productivity, cybersecurity, and safety

In the role you would be working in the cross-functional teams to ensure the solutions meet Ahlstrom strategy. You are responsible for continuous improvement of IT solutions for OT.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Solution Design and Implementation

  • Develop and maintain the IT architecture for OT systems, ensuring seamless integration with IT infrastructure.
  • Lead the design and implementation of robust and scalable IT solutions for OT that meet the specific needs of paper manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to understand their requirements and translate them into technical IT specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in system design and implementation.
  • Lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and reliable network architectures and systems, ensuring the protection of critical assets for new and existing facilities.

 

Integration and Standardization

  • Integrate OT systems with enterprise IT systems to enable data flow and process automation.
  • Conduct regular assessments and audits of OT systems to identify areas for improvement.
  • Design solutions that are standardized, scalable, secure, and cost-effective on global level.

 

Security and Compliance

  • Develop and implement security measures to protect OT systems from cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Ensure IT infrastructure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for OT.
  • Support OT system security management, incident response, and vulnerability management.

 

Project support

  • Lead IT/OT solutions from conception to completion for paper mill projects
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Identify project risks and issues and develop mitigation plans.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in IT and OT architecture, preferably within the paper or manufacturing industry.
  • Experience of The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) design and implementation in complex legacy technology environment.
  • Strong understanding of both IT and OT environments and their integration.
  • Knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies and their practical implementation in manufacturing environment.
  • Experience and strong understanding of cybersecurity by design.
  • Proficiency in IT/OT infrastructure and security design and configuration
  • Practical experience of network infrastructure
  • Good documentation skills
  • Experience in project work and leading technical teams
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
