Job description

OPENTEXT

OpenText is a global leader in information management, where innovation, creativity, and collaboration are the key components of our corporate culture. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to partner with the most highly regarded companies in the world, tackle complex issues, and contribute to projects that shape the future of digital transformation.

Your Impact

As a Technical Program Manager at OpenText, you will take the lead on multiple strategic cloud-focused projects that span geographies, business units, and cross-functional teams. You’ll partner with Engineering, Product Management, Cloud Operations, Customer Support, and Professional Services to deliver programs that help shape the future of our Cloud platform and applications. Your role isn’t just to track tasks—you’ll be the driving force behind execution, coordination, and problem solving, ensuring global initiatives stay aligned, on track, and deliver high impact.

What the Role Offers

  • The opportunity to work at the heart of OpenText’s transformation, guiding the evolution of cloud and enterprise products.
  • Ownership of end-to-end program delivery, from planning through execution, across business units like ADM, ITOM, and Content Services.
  • A collaborative and multicultural team environment, working with colleagues from Israel, UK, Romania, Germany, India, Slovenia, and Australia.
  • A high-visibility role in a strategic area of the business, where your ability to influence and align stakeholders will directly drive results.
  • A chance to shape and optimize how we deliver engineering programs, infusing best practices, structure, and clarity into our execution.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Experience:
    • +3 years of experience in technical program/project management, ideally within software development or cloud environments.
    • Familiarity with product-focused project delivery (not just services), and confidence engaging with engineers, even without being deeply technical.
  • Skills:
    • Strong project management capabilities: building work plans, managing dependencies, tracking risks, and producing executive-level reporting.
    • Excellent communication across cultures and functions—you’re able to run global mini-calls, align stakeholders, and bring clarity to complexity.
    • A proactive mindset with a focus on value delivery, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
    • Ability to lead without authority—driving momentum through influence, structure, and vision.
    • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Nice to have:
    • PMP or similar certification.
    • Experience working with international, distributed engineering teams.

One Last Thing

This isn’t just a coordination role—it’s about driving progress, solving problems, and delivering outcomes. If you’re a critical thinker who thrives in global, fast-moving environments and enjoys leading high-impact cloud initiatives, we’d love to hear from you.
