Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Curriculum Designer for Chinese Learning and Teaching at the elementary level. This role involves creating a comprehensive Chinese language curriculum tailored to meet the standards of the Thai Ministry of Education. The ideal candidate will work closely with Thai and Chinese teams, as well as teachers, to ensure the development of effective and high-quality teaching materials. A deep understanding of the Thai education system and previous experience teaching Chinese in Thailand are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Development: Design and create a Chinese language curriculum for elementary students in line with the Thai Ministry of Education standards.
• Lesson Planning & Materials Creation: Develop engaging lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessment tools that foster effective learning outcomes.
• Collaboration & Coordination: Work alongside Thai and Chinese teams, school administrators, and teachers to ensure curriculum alignment and smooth execution.
• Teacher Training & Support: Provide guidance and professional development for Chinese teachers, ensuring the successful implementation of the curriculum and best teaching practices.
• Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement: Monitor and evaluate the curriculum's effectiveness, incorporating feedback and student performance data to make necessary adjustments.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure that all educational materials meet Thai educational regulations and learning objectives.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: A bachelors degree or higher in Education, Teaching, Chinese Language, or a related field.
• Language Skills:
  • Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) and Thai (both spoken and written).
  • English proficiency is a plus.
• Experience:
  • Prior experience teaching Chinese in Thailand.
  • Familiarity with the Thai curriculum and educational system.
• Skills:
  • Strong expertise in curriculum design and lesson planning.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with diverse teams.
  • Ability to create engaging and effective learning materials.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in teacher training or educational leadership.
