Job Description:

Pay Range $17.91hr - $21.91hr
  • Vehicle maintenance is looking to add a temporary employee for one year to assist vehicle maintenance on a number of tasks.
  • The individual will be responsible for assisting with the expansion of the MBTA Radio Frequency Identification Device (RFID) Program.
  • This individual will be responsible for setting up and tagging the components on the new Orange Line Cars and also the Blue Line cars.
  • The individual will assist current staff in developing theMBTA rebuild numbers for train components so the component rebuilds can be tracked at the Car House and the Everett Main Repair Facility.
  • As part of thistask the individual will set up the costing models for these rebuilds and work with Management on reviewing these tasks and costs.
  • Other tasks will include working with Non-revenue vehicles and getting vehicle data entered into MCRS and Samsara.
