Job Summary
The Consumer Data Insight Analyst plays a pivotal role in driving strategic growth and improving customer outcomes for DentalPlans.com a leading online marketplace for dental savings plans that empowers consumers to access affordable dental care. As part of the Analytics team, this role partners with cross-functional stakeholders – including Marketing, Product, Customer Experience, Finance, and Operations to deliver data-driven insights that inform key business decisions.

This role is instrumental in supporting DentalPlans’ mission to simplify access to affordable dental care through analytics that enhance member acquisition, engagement, retention, and overall service effectiveness. The Data Insight Analyst will develop dashboards, forecasts, customer segmentation strategies, and predictive models to uncover actionable insights across the entire customer lifecycle.

Success in this position requires a blend of technical capabilities, strategic and critical thinking, and a deep curiosity for connecting data to meaningful business outcomes. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand core processes and challenges, then translate those needs into analytical solutions that guide strategy and execution.

Analytics work will span across all functional areas – including digital marketing performance, sales trends, contact center optimization, customer segmentation and profiling, financial and operational forecasting, and experimentation design (e.g., A/B testing). This individual will be a key contributor in shaping a data-driven culture and scaling DentalPlans’ analytical capabilities as we continue to expand our impact in the direct-to-consumer healthcare space.

What You Will Do
  • Analyze acquisition, sales, engagement, retention and operational performance and related customer behavior to identify opportunities for optimization and growth
  • Develop ad hoc and production dashboards, reports, visualizations, and other analyses to monitor key performance indicators and identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement
  • Query, prepare, explore, and leverage data sourced from our digital analytics platform, internal data warehouse, and production platforms to synthesize actionable insights and inform business decisions
  • Segment and model prospects, customers, and related behavior through advanced analytics

Travel/Physical Demands

    • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, R and/or statistical modeling and forecasting within complex data environments
    • Experienced in designing and executing experimental testing methodologies (i.e. A/B and incrementality tests) to measure the impact of product, marketing, and operational changes
    • Skilled at translating business needs into data requirements, key metrics, and actionable insights that support strategic decision-making
  • Tools & Systems
