LOCATION: This is a remote position and can be based from any location within the United States.

ABOUT THE JOB

The Tepa Companies are seeking a Program Manager organizes, coordinates, and oversees engineering designs of all types of projects and designs for Tepa’s AENEXT contract. This role will provide strategic guidance to teams and project managers in ways that promote organizational goals.

Job Functions:

  • Coordinates between multiple projects/Project Managers to support assigned program. 
  • Organizes program and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization. 
  • Creates and manages long term goals of the program and coordinates with Engineering Business Unit for impacts to the overall company business plan. 
  • Develops and controls deadlines, budgets, and program activities. 
  • Oversees and leads project managers, project teams, and projects as Project Manager.
  • Ensures goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, safety, quality and team member performance. 
  • Implements and manages changes to ensure project goals are achieved. 
  • Works on program strategy with business development team. 
  • Leads strategic proposal efforts in coordination with technical staff, teaming partners, and business development team. 
  • Produces accurate and timely reporting of program status through life cycle. 
  • Assesses program performance and aims to maximize ROI. 
  • Analyzes program risks.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's degree civil, structural, mechanical, or electrical engineering, or similar from Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology accredited college or university 
  • 10+ years of relevant experience 
  • Licensed Professional Engineer with NCEES Registration and ability to be licensed in any state in the US
  • Demonstrated ability to fulfill commitments on schedule and meet clients' service expectations and requirements 
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with project team members and clients  
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in building working relationships and interacting with multidisciplinary teams  
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills, including attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness, as well as a commitment to producing high-quality deliverables
  • Must be able to pass a law enforcement/financial background check for access to military and government facilities, as needed  
  • Previous military experience; preferred
  • Master’s degree in civil, structural, mechanical, or electrical engineering; preferred
  • Knowledge of Uniform Facilities Criteria for DoD; preferred
