In this role, you will assist in the administration of the loan business as assigned. Covers the loan origination process including, but not limited to, managing application submissions, communication with parties involved in a transaction, monitoring of key application / sales contract dates and ensuring each application / closing experience reflects a best-in-class member experience. Responsible for checking loan details and requirements before submitting loans to the operations team. Uses knowledge of loan origination of various types of mortgage loans including conventional, FHA, VA, construction and other portfolio products.
Responsibilities
Act as a primary point of contact for the borrower on behalf of the lending team as well as for parties engaged in a loan application.
Assist in appointment setting with prospective and new applicants.
Analyze customer’s credit and financial scenario and determining appropriate loan product(s) under the guidance and review of the loan officer.
Run credit on assigned loans.
Run automated underwriting systems (AUS) and prepares the loan fees for disclosure.
Pull and prep web applications and other duties, including updating credit reports and AUS findings.
Provide support in the collection and preparation of submitting loan application with supporting documentation.
Monitor key dates related to loan transactions and respond accordingly.
Maintain customer and referral partner contact to ensure follow-up of loan application and answer basic customer inquiries while providing quality customer service.
Manage assigned database, tracking active loan(s) and entering data.
Education
Minimum - Hight school or equivalent

Minimum - 3 years of Mortgage, Mortgage Lending or Related
Proficiency with data entry, PDF software programs, Microsoft Office and Encompass/Optimal Blue LOS and pricing engine
License/Certifications/Training
Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) - Preferred
Compensation & Benefits
Typical hiring range: $16.11- $22.16 Hourly. Actual compensation will be determined using factors such as experience, skills & knowledge.
