We are in search of a dynamic and enthusiastic graduate who is passionate about internal communications and content creating, as well as having interest in people projects, engagement, diversity and inclusion to join our Global Human Resources (HR) Department.

As an Internal Communication Intern (Content Creator), you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Global HR/People Team by contributing to various internal communication initiatives and projects related to our People Agenda.

The successful candidate will support our culture change, diversity & inclusion and engagement initiatives and campaigns to further engage our people. They will promote internal branding and internal communications initiatives to support HR/People activity at global level, aimed at spreading our Dedalus culture and values. They will be a part of the HR/People Team, reporting into the Engagement, Diversity & Inclusion Manager, but also collaborate with the Global Marketing and Communications team to develop content strategies that drive brand awareness and engagement. We need someone who will bring new creative and innovative ideas to the team which can engage our colleagues!

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation

  • Writing and Editing: Draft, edit, and proofread internal communications content such as newsletters, emails, intranet articles, social media posts, PowerPoints etc. Produce high-quality written, visual, and multimedia content that aligns with our brand's tone and message.
  • Multimedia Content Development: Develop engaging content formats, including GIFs, videos, infographics, and more to support internal campaigns and messages.
  • Event Support: Assist in planning and executing employee engagement events, including virtually, aligned to our engagement plans.
     

Content Management

  • Content Scheduling: Help plan and schedule content for internal and external communication channels e.g. internal intranet, social tools and LinkedIn.
  • Content Updates: Update and maintain content on the intranet related to HR and People topics, ensuring information is current and relevant.
  • Project management: Create communication campaigns by project managing essential internal and external comms. Manage time effectively through project management skills to drive projects independently, and with the HR team.
     

Project Support

  • Project Coordination: Assist in co-ordinating various HR and People internal communication projects, keeping track of timelines and deliverables.
  • Campaign Assistance: Help ‘bring to life’ internal campaigns to support organisational initiatives by bringing new ideas.
  • Message Consistency: Ensure HR and People internal messages are aligned with the company’s brand, values, and objectives.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, branding, or a related field. A master's degree in a relevant discipline can be a plus but is not required.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written (C1 level).
  • Graphic design skills and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite multimedia content creation tools: Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Knowledge of After Effects considered a plus but is not required. Experience of Canva is desired.
  • Ability to confidently manage multiple projects and meet a range of deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills including writing and editing skills, with a view of aligning to Dedalus branding guidance.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Suite e.g. PowerPoint, Word, Outlook etc.
  • Genuine passion for communication, engagement, Diversity & Inclusion and people.
  • An understanding of global cultures and the ability to create content that resonates with a diverse, global audience.
  • Creativity and innovative thinking.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Positive mindset, curiosity, and proactive approach.

Relevant coursework or projects related to communication, media studies, digital content creation, or writing can be beneficial. Showcasing previous work in content creation would be advantageous during the selection process e.g. video and article creation.
