We’re looking for a
Heavy Equipment Outside Sales Representative who can build relationships and drive consignment volume across industries like
commercial transportation, construction, government surplus, lifting and material handling, energy, mining, and agriculture. You will be responsible for sourcing used equipment—everything from backhoes and dump trucks to skid steers, excavators, trailers, and commercial trucks—and bringing those assets to market through our trusted auction platform.

What You Will Do
- New Business Development:
- Identify and target companies with used heavy equipment inventory.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to grow consignments from commercial and public-sector sellers.
- Conduct site visits, presentations, and in-person meetings to win new business.
- Build a network within industries such as construction, utilities, transportation, and infrastructure.
- Account Management:
- Maintain strong relationships with key clients, providing white-glove service.
- Educate clients on the auction process and help maximize sale value.
- Ensure repeat business by delivering trust, transparency, and results.
- Sales Activities:
- Attend trade shows, public equipment auctions, and industry events to generate leads.
- Collaborate with operations and marketing to ensure timely listings and accurate representation.
- Use CRM tools to track outreach, manage accounts, and forecast pipelines.
- Stay informed on equipment values, market trends, and competitors (e.g., Ritchie Bros., Yoder & Frey).
- Auction Representation:
- Promote the value of our auction services as a fast, efficient way to monetize idle equipment.
- Guide clients through consignment preparation, including inspections, logistics, and documentation.
- Ensure each asset is marketed effectively and ethically to drive maximum interest.
What You Will Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Proven success in B2B outside sales, especially in heavy equipment, construction, or auction environments.
- Strong communication, prospecting, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build relationships with field-level personnel and senior decision-makers.
- Deep understanding of construction equipment and truck fleet operations.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, field-based environment.
- Proficient with CRM tools and basic Microsoft Office Suite.

At E INC, in the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share our base pay as it is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this full-time position is $58,000.00 - $62,000.00, and this role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments. Your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition, our ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
