We are currently seeking a passionate and motivated Band 5 Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our NHS client’s dedicated paediatric therapy team in Carshalton, Surrey. This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified or early-career therapist to gain valuable experience working with children and young people in a supportive and multidisciplinary environment. The role is available on a locum basis with an immediate start and offers competitive rates.
What will your responsibilities be?
As a Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating children with a range of developmental, sensory, and physical needs. You will work collaboratively with families, schools, and other professionals to create and implement individualized therapy plans that support each child’s functional goals. Your role will involve conducting detailed assessments, delivering evidence-based interventions, maintaining accurate and timely documentation, and actively participating in multidisciplinary team meetings. Additionally, you will contribute to service development initiatives, ensuring high standards of care and continuous improvement within the paediatric therapy service.
