Job description

Location: Supporting NY, CT, MA, ME, RI, VT, and NH.

Pay: $65,000 - $75,000 plus annual bonus opportunities, company vehicle, benefits, and so much more!

Summary

The Division Commercial Specialist is responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining strategic relationships with current and prospective commercial clients. This role focuses on driving sales growth within the Commercial Pool sector by targeting a broad range of customers including Pool & Spa Retailers, Builders, Maintenance firms, Municipalities, Waterparks, HOAs, and other large-scale commercial entities.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedules and conducts sales calls regularly to build new commercial accounts and grow existing ones

  • Prospects and cold-call potential commercial clients within the territory

  • Targets and develops large Commercial National Accounts in alignment with strategic goals

  • Identifies client needs and provides accurate product information, pricing, and quotes

  • Closes sales and follow through with post-sale support to ensure a seamless customer experience

  • Supports accounts receivable efforts and collaborate with operations to ensure timely delivery

  • Develops and maintains relationships with key customer contacts, decision-makers, and influencers

  • Partners with Commercial Pool Service Companies for product installations, repairs, and ongoing collaboration

  • Schedules and hosts annual/semi-annual visits or Lunch & Learns with Commercial Aquatic Architects, Designers, and Engineers to promote solutions and secure future job specifications

  • Communicates and collaborates frequently with Sales Center Managers (SCMs), Regional Managers (RMs), and General Managers (GMs) to align on goals and execution

  • Coordinates with the Bid & Spec Team to track and follow up on regional commercial quotes

  • Provides weekly call reports and monthly market overviews detailing activity, wins, and opportunities

  • Meets consistently with Commercial Vendor Reps in the territory to leverage additional support and resources

  • Organizes and facilitates regional training programs on commercial products for internal teams and clients

  • Plans and executes commercial trade shows, product seminars, and other promotional events within the territory

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in a wholesale environment

  • Proven success in developing and closing new business

  • Strong knowledge of pool-related equipment and systems, especially Commercial Pool Pump Rooms and Deck Equipment

  • Familiarity with related product categories such as plumbing, HVAC, chemicals, construction materials, or landscape/irrigation supplies

  • Ability to travel frequently within the territory

  • Capable of lifting and moving up to 75 lbs occasionally

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with CRM systems and inventory software.

  • Must be 21 years of age or older

The annual compensation for this position is between $65,000 and $75,000 based on a full-time schedule. Additionally, this position may be eligible for relocation or cost of living adjustments.
