This role supports the mission to Share Christ – Love People by ensuring timely completion of bank reconciliations and journal entries for month-end and year-end reporting.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and record journal entries in Salesforce/Accounting Seed with appropriate detail backup
Perform bank reconciliations for Joyce Meyer Ministries accounts
Prepare allocations for journal entry use
Produce and analyze required reports timely: Trial Balance, Financial Statements, Flux Analysis, monthly/quarterly reports, and ad-hoc reporting
Assist management: preparation for mileage booklets, annual audit, writing procedures, and complete special projects
Work with fixed assets: additions, disposals, depreciation, year-end reports and yearly inventory tracking
Communicate relevant updates to Controller
Assist the Finance Department with general ledger account coding and Microsoft Navision functions
Maintain personal knowledge base of current United States accounting standards

Qualifications:

2-3 years of relevant experience
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Knowledge of Microsoft Navision or Enterprise Resource Planning accounting system software, Salesforce preferred
Ability to work within all levels of organization
Ability to handle confidential situations and documentation
Ability to organize and prioritize work
Ability to multi-task and be self motivated
Ability to work quickly under pressure
Excellent problem-solving skills
Precise attention to detail

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
