Job Title: In-House Engineer
Location: Onsite 
Job Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a knowledgeable and driven In-House Engineer to support the operation, maintenance, and compliance of diagnostic imaging equipment across multiple outpatient imaging centers. This role involves onsite visits, inspections, and training, with the goal of ensuring equipment reliability, staff safety, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Assess, install, and maintain various diagnostic imaging systems. Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions and failures. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance. Analyze performance data and implement optimization strategies. Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and service vendors. Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities. Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate supply orders.

Develop and oversee compliance programs for radiology operations. Coordinate with federal and state regulators for inspections and audits. Ensure adherence to ACR, MQSA, MIPS, OSHA, HIPAA, and other industry standards. Lead staff credentialing and safety programs. Plan and deliver compliance training across the organization. Monitor and report on potential compliance risks and concerns.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required; relevant technical certifications or education preferred. 3–5 years of experience in medical equipment maintenance or imaging services. Previous outpatient or hospital compliance experience highly preferred. Familiarity with radiologic accreditation and compliance standards.

Skills and Competencies
Strong diagnostic and technical troubleshooting abilities. Knowledge of OSHA and equipment safety regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments. Proficient in compliance documentation and reporting. Strong organizational and time management skills.

Working Conditions
Work is performed in a medical imaging environment with regular staff and patient interaction. Prolonged periods of sitting or standing; computer-based work is frequent. Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs occasionally. Travel to imaging centers is required; flexible scheduling may be needed.
