Please note: This is a hybrid role based in Kitchener, Ontario. Only candidates able to work onsite a minimum of three days per week will be considered.

As we scale, we’re expanding our marketing team to focus on high-impact growth strategies. We're seeking a Lead Generation Specialist who is laser-focused on new customer acquisition—someone who knows how to build a pipeline, accelerate demand, and generate quality leads through targeted digital initiatives.

About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Product Marketing, the Lead Generation Specialist will play a critical role in attracting and converting new prospects. This person will assist in managing our digital acquisition strategy across channels, drive campaign performance, and continuously refine tactics to generate qualified leads and maximize return on ad spend (ROAS).

This is a hands-on role where strategic thinking meets tactical execution. You’ll collaborate closely with Sales, Product Marketing, and external agencies to shape customer journeys and scale programs that deliver results.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Acquisition & Campaign Management

  • Own and manage paid media campaigns (Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta, YouTube) with a focus on driving new customer leads.
  • Execute A/B tests on landing pages, CTAs, and creative to improve click-through and conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with external media partners and internal content creators to ensure campaign alignment and brand consistency.

Lead Funnel Development & Optimization

  • Build high-performing lead funnels across digital touchpoints with clear hand-offs to Sales.
  • Develop and optimize retargeting strategies while balancing the budget between net-new acquisition and re-engagement.
  • Help define and refine lead scoring models, MQL criteria, and attribution logic in HubSpot.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Monitor and report on campaign performance, cost-per-lead (CPL), and marketing-sourced pipeline metrics.
  • Analyze conversion paths and audience behavior using GA4, HubSpot, and Looker Studio.
  • Present actionable insights and strategic recommendations to leadership.

Martech & Tracking

  • Ensure clean data tracking across ad platforms, HubSpot workflows, and Google Tag Manager.
  • Identify and troubleshoot any gaps in campaign attribution or form submissions.
  • Maintain rigorous tracking and testing protocols to ensure reliable reporting.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in performance marketing, digital acquisition, or lead generation (B2B or SaaS preferred).
  • Proven success scaling lead gen campaigns that convert, particularly through Google Ads, LinkedIn, YouTube, and paid social.
  • Hands-on knowledge of HubSpot, GA4, GTM, and Looker Studio (or similar tools).
  • Deep understanding of the B2B customer journey and experience generating leads across complex sales cycles.
  • Data-driven mindset with a strong grasp of CPL, ROAS, MQL-to-SQL funnel metrics, and campaign attribution.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills with a collaborative, resourceful approach.

Bonus Points

  • HubSpot Marketing Certification or experience building integrated nurture workflows.
  • Experience with lead list segmentation, dynamic content, and intent-based targeting.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript or basic HTML/CSS for tracking and landing page troubleshooting.
