In this role you have the rare opportunity to develop the future of frequency converters with us. Do you want to take part in developing our next generation frequency converters? Then you might be the person we are looking for in our S/C Technology Manufacturing Engineering Team in Graasten to act as a bridge between R&D and daily operations. 


The position is a great opportunity for you to be part of a fantastic team in an agile envi-ronment. Our Local S/C Technology Center supports Graasten factory with NPD development. This also includes technology projects, assembly concept development, testing and designing modular robotic solutions for our future manufacturing setup.

Job Responsibilities

You will be part of our Local S/C Technology Center in Graasten with around 100 engineers world wide. Our job is to challenge, design and build NPD projects in new manufacturing areas in our factory. We set ambition high in automation and develop the next generation assembly areas in our Smart Factory. 

 

Your focus areas will be: 

  • Create master data for NPD products - this is SAP data, PFMEA, C/T and FLOW analysis
  • Design for Automated Assembly (DFAA) - we design the product for Automation readiness and collaborate with R&D in making improvements for assembly
  • We focus on Automation - We want to raise the bar in terms of smart use of robots in manufacturing and smart designing
  • Develop the plan to build the area - This is investment plans, layout, equipment in-stallation and alignment with suppliers and internally

  • Engineering degree paired with solid experience in Lean Manufacturing and Lean Automation
  • Ideally, experience in activities or projects related to automation
  • Proven SAP know-how in a manufacturing context 
  • Professionally curious, enjoy learning, and have an enthusiasm for technology development
  • A good sense of urgency and the ability to work in an agile environment 
  • Fluent English language skills, preferably also Danish language skills 
  • As Danfoss is highly diverse, we expect you to work with many different people in an international environment
