Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Director - CAD to help engineer the development of the next generation of AI chips. The role will be key to achieving our goals of scalability and quality to support our AI roadmap. Practical flow development experience and a good understanding of the entire SoC tool chain will be key to making the team successful.

Key Responsibilities:
SoC Flow Assessment and Definition: Review the current available flows and identify weaknesses, improvements and new required flows to enable our scalability and re-use goals
SoC Flow Development and Support: Develop and support new flows that are required to enable the design and implementation teams
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Silicon Engineering central CAD team.to propose changes and integrate new flows into the mainstream
Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing CAD team capable of delivering best-in-class flows

Additional Skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Leadership experience managing a small team of CAD engineers

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:
MS with 10+ years of experience
10+ years of experience in CAD tools development
4+ years of Programming experience is required (Python, C or others)

Preferred Qualifications

Deep understanding of the SoC implementation flows

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US:

$247,810.00-$349,850.00

Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.

Work Model for this Role

This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. However, you must live and work from the country specified in the job posting, in which Intel has a legal presence.
