Job description

The Company

Dexcom Corporation (NASDAQ DXCM) is a pioneer and global leader in continuous glucose monitoring (CGM). Dexcom began as a small company with a big dream: To forever change how diabetes is managed. To unlock information and insights that drive better health outcomes. Here we are 25 years later, having pioneered an industry. And we're just getting started. We are broadening our vision beyond diabetes to empower people to take control of health. That means personalized, actionable insights aimed at solving important health challenges. To continue what we've started: Improving human health.

We are driven by thousands of ambitious, passionate people worldwide who are willing to fight like warriors to earn the trust of our customers by listening, serving with integrity, thinking big, and being dependable. We've already changed millions of lives and we're ready to change millions more. Our future ambition is to become a leading consumer health technology company while continuing to develop solutions for serious health conditions. We'll get there by constantly reinventing unique biosensing-technology experiences. Though we've come a long way from our small company days, our dreams are bigger than ever. The opportunity to improve health on a global scale stands before us.

Meet the team:

The Corporate Quality Compliance Team collaborates with cross-functional business partners to guide effective business solutions while assuring strict adherence to regulatory compliance requirements. Within this team, our Corporate QA Training Department designs, implements, and continuously improves training programs that align with corporate QMS and external requirements (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485) while incorporating industry best practices. You will manage a small team of seasoned staff who are well-versed with our company’s processes and highly adaptable to supporting dynamic business needs.

Where you come in:

  • You will manage QMS training-related processes, systems (Learning Management System), and departmental resources to ensure all QMS training content and delivery methods comply with applicable regulatory standards and internal quality procedures.
  • You will support company growth by driving improvement initiatives geared towards simplification, standardization, and overall effectiveness of our QMS training programs.
  • You will proactively identify improvement opportunities—through data analysis such as gap assessments, internal feedback, external benchmarking, and the use of available technology—while supporting prioritization aligned with our organization’s business needs and long-term strategies.
  • You will guide the QA Training Department to implement larger change projects through robust planning, analysis, stakeholder collaboration, risk-mitigation, tracking, and documentation.
  • You will provide status updates and performance data related to sustaining activities, improvement projects, and compliance assessments.
  • You will be a hands-on people-leader who fosters open communication and a proactive approach to ensure efficient workflow and continual review for compliance risks.

What makes you successful:

  • You have held role(s) with direct responsibility for managing QMS processes regulated by FDA or similar industry, preferably with some responsibilities for personnel training. (Prior experience in roles with direct responsibility for compliance-related activities – such as audits, CAPA, or Management Review – is a plus.)
  • You are a positive, organized leader who values transparency and is open to input while maintaining accountability to achieve results. You are passionate about your team and support their success with clear expectations, empowerment, coaching, and recognition. (Ideally, you enjoy mentoring and have success stories about supporting your team members’ professional development and growth.)
  • You are customer-service oriented and eager to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders while addressing business needs. (Ideally, you have a successful track record of driving QMS-related process improvements that require cross-functional collaboration and quality planning with impact evaluation, risk assessment, and resulting quality records.)
  • You apply critical thinking and change management skills to solve problems, make decisions, and drive desired results. (Formal training/certification, such as Lean Six Sigma or ASQ, is a plus.)
  • You are familiar with FDA 21 CFR Part 11 requirements applied to enterprise software systems. (Direct experience supporting/maintaining a Learning Management System is a plus.)

What you’ll get:

  • A front row seat to life changing CGM technology. Learn about our brave #dexcomwarriors community.
  • A full and comprehensive benefits program.
  • Growth opportunities on a global scale.
  • Access to career development through in-house learning programs and/or qualified tuition reimbursement.
  • An exciting and innovative, industry-leading organization committed to our employees, customers, and the communities we serve.

Travel Required:

  • 5-15%

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree with 8-12 years of industry experience
  • 2-5 years of previous management or lead experience
