Cancer Care Alberta is currently looking for a Unit Clerk to join our team at the new, state of the art, Arthur Child Comprehensive Cancer Centre in Calgary. Designed for the future of cancer care, the Arthur Child features 1.3 million square feet of bright, modern design, innovative equipment and an integrated approach to research and optimizing care for our patients, families and staff. As a Unit Clerk, you will be responsible for the efficient flow of communication between health professionals, departments, patients and families while maintaining confidentiality of patient information. You will also be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks which may include reception, greeting and directing visitors, patients and health professionals, maintaining patient records and charts, transcribing and processing physician orders as well as scheduling patient tests and/or treatments. You will also be responsible for performing a range of administrative activities in support of the unit.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Completion of an accredited Unit Clerk Course or equivalent training program.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Must be able to perform repetitive physical duties that include walking distances, standing, sitting, pushing, pulling, bending and reaching related to the position and patient services.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years acute care experience within the last 3 years Inpatient Connect Care experience.
