LASATER & MARTIN, a busy DTC law firm, has an immediate opening for a full-time litigation paralegal with 2+ years of experience and a bachelor's degree. This is not a remote position—we value the energy of working together in person!

We are a hardworking firm with a fun environment and a casual dress policy. Insurance defense experience is a plus but not required. The paralegal will work directly with the attorneys and will perform numerous duties to assist attorneys in the litigation process. We’re looking for someone who can make independent decisions, connect with clients and attorneys confidently, and keep cases on track.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Draft pleadings, discovery, and routine correspondence.
Experience summarizing medical records.
Assist attorneys with deposition preparation and other discovery requests.
Prepare for client meetings, including document productions, hearings, and trials.
Prepare summaries of depositions, documents, and records.
Review and summarize records and prepare chronologies.
Maintain case management files.
Proficient in court rules.
Experience with billing time.
Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail.
Ability to prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with court rules, docketing, and calendaring systems.
