OSP Engineer - Remote

We are seeking an experienced OSP Engineer to join our telecommunications team and drive critical fiber plant design and network infrastructure projects. This remote position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge engineering systems while supporting high-capacity circuit provisioning and network optimization.

OSP Engineer Responsibilities

• Design and engineer fiber plant infrastructure with comprehensive construction knowledge
• Manage high-capacity circuits, high bandwidth provisioning, and IEN inventory processing
• Utilize advanced engineering systems including CANVAS, UUI, Nautilis, TIRKS, and CCP
• Perform circuit design and network plant analysis using industry-standard tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on telecommunications and data networking projects
• Maintain detailed documentation and administrative processes for network infrastructure
• Support wireless industry initiatives and telecommunications network expansion

OSP Engineer Qualifications

Required Skills:

• 7-10 years of OSP Engineering experience in telecommunications industry
• Expert-level computer skills including Word, Excel, Visio, ArcGIS/ESRI, 3GIS, and Google Earth
• Proven experience with HiCap circuits and high bandwidth provisioning
• Strong knowledge of IEN inventory and processing systems
• Database management and administrative process expertise
• Working knowledge of network plant operations and local practices

Preferred Skills:

• Circuit design experience as an OSP Engineer
• Specialized IEN knowledge and advanced system applications
• Experience with Request Net and additional engineering platforms
• Background in data networking or wireless industry projects
• Advanced proficiency in telecommunications engineering systems
