Position Summary:
Adjunct faculty are responsible for providing high-quality instruction, facilitating engaging discussions, offering timely and constructive feedback, and supporting graduate students in achieving their academic and professional goals—all within a Christian learning environment that integrates faith and ethics into the curriculum. This is a part-time online position. Courses are delivered in 8-week terms throughout the academic year.

Facilitate online graduate-level courses in business disciplines, such as:
Leadership and Org Behavior
Strategic Communication
Strategic Marketing
Ethical and Legal Environment of Business
Accounting: Financial Analysis
Human Resource Management
Corporate Finance
Foster a supportive and interactive online learning environment aligned with Concordia’s mission and academic standards.
Provide regular, timely feedback on student assignments.
Communicate effectively with students via the learning management system (Blackboard Ultra).
Integrate Christian principles and ethical perspectives where appropriate.
Collaborate with program leadership to ensure curriculum consistency and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Required-
Terminal degree (Ph.D., DBA, Ed.D.) in Business or related field from a regionally accredited institution.
Relevant professional experience in the field of instruction.
Commitment to Concordia University Nebraska’s mission and values as a Christian university.
Experience teaching in an online format.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Preferred:
Prior experience teaching in graduate-level business programs.
Familiarity with Blackboard Ultra or similar LMS.
Demonstrated ability to integrate faith-based perspectives into business education.
