We are committed to providing exceptional service and high standards for our travel clients, and we are seeking a skilled Supervisor of Operations to join our Charter Air team. What you can expect in this role:

As Supervisor of Charter Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing a logistics team responsible for operational execution and client service delivery for all charter flights. You will ensure accuracy, accountability, and efficiency across the charter operations team. The role includes development and training of staff, adoption and use of technology, and compliance with best practices, standard operating procedures, and KPIs. Additionally, the role will support operational relationships with our vendor air carriers, ACMI vendors, management of irregular operations (IRROPS) for brokered flights, and ensuring work-life balance for our staff, all while providing 24x7x365 client-facing operational oversight and promoting client satisfaction. 


Essential Functions:

  • Lead and mentor Charter Operations and ACMI Coordinators to ensure efficient execution of charter operations and high levels of client satisfaction, as measured by accuracy, timeliness, and feedback.
  • Ensure all flight logistics (ground handling, passenger screening, FBO coordination, catering, manifests) are finalized and executed without issue, as measured by error-free delivery and proactive communication.
  • Serve as an escalation point for operations-related issues and ensure real-time resolution with clients and carriers.
  • Oversee communication and documentation standards for all charter flights, including post-flight reporting and vendor feedback.
  • Travel as necessary  to supervise on-site operations or support high-profile flights.
  • Partner with Charter Sales and Account Managers to deliver a seamless client experience throughout the charter process.
  • Drive continuous improvement in operational processes and documentation, as measured by increased efficiency and reduced rework.
Requirements

  

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Charter Aviation, Travel, Logistics, or Operations required.
  • 3+ years of charter aviation or travel operations experience preferred, with prior supervisory or team leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong decision-making, planning, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail.
  • Must be accessible during off-hours, evenings, and weekends as needed during active flights.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while leading a team to deliver consistent results.
  • Must be able to travel for key operations or client meetings as needed.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook). 
  • Experience with Salesforce a plus. 
  • Familiarity with aviation operations tools or platforms a plus.
  • Remote work setup must include reliable high-speed internet access.
