Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Reviews medical bills for unrelated charges, non-compensable charges, coding and billing errors.
 • Travels, as required, to on-site hospital facilities.
 • Achieves percent of savings expectations through their review billing
 • Ensures productivity goals are met daily, e.g. number of bills reviewed.
 • Communicates audit findings to physicians offices and hospitals.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree 

Registered Nurse required

Bill Review Experience required

Worker's compensation experience preferred

Self-motivated 

Strong work ethic 

Ability to work independently and multi task in a fast paced environment 

Detail oriented 

Solid time management and organizational skills
