Pacific Star Seafoods - Rolling Stock Mechanic

Salmon/Halibut/Cod processing facility in Kenai Alaska looking for experienced and motivated rolling stock mechanics. Pacific Star Seafoods operates a fish processing plant near the Kenai River, 

Seasonal employment running (approx.) early January until late September

Maintaining and servicing of all rolling stock including, but not limited to, forklifts, four-wheelers, pickup trucks, cars and heavy equipment. Semi Tractors and trailers

COMPENSATION:

$20-22 per hour Depending on Experience 

Airfare to and from plant from point of hire

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Minimum 3 years professional experience. Experience with gas, propane and diesel engines. Experience with hydraulic systems. Experience with vehicle electrical systems. Self-directed, well organized and comfortable in a diverse living and working environment. Willing to work in a remote location under, at times, challenging conditions.
