Key Accountabilities:
Strategic Program Leadership
• Develop and execute the overall strategy for the Tutoring Program.
• Align program goals with Win’s broader mission and strategic priorities.
• Ensure effective implementation of all program components across multiple sites.
Operational Oversight
• Manage day-to-day operations, including scheduling, logistics, and resource allocation.
• Monitor program activities to ensure timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
Team Management and Development
• Supervise and support the Academic Intervention Lead and Student Wellbeing Consultant.
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.
• Identify training needs and coordinate professional development opportunities.
Stakeholder Communication and Reporting
• Serve as the primary liaison between the program team and Win leadership.
• Document program implementation, student progress, and areas for improvement.
• Prepare and present reports to internal and external stakeholders.
Program Monitoring and Evaluation
• Collaborate with the Research, Evaluation, and Strategic Learning (RESL) team to track performance metrics.
• Use data to inform continuous improvement and strategic decision-making.
External Partnerships and Advocacy
• Build and maintain partnerships with schools, libraries, and educational nonprofits.
• Advocate for educational resources and support for families in shelter settings.
Budget and Resource Management
• Work closely with the AVP of Supportive Services to manage the program budget.
• Ensure efficient use of resources and alignment with funding requirements.
Program Promotion and Expansion
• Represent the program at internal and external events.
• Promote program successes and generate support for future growth and replication.
Essential Functions
• Must be able to travel to Win pilot sites across East Harlem to oversee tutoring sessions and to Win Headquarter when needed.
• Must be able to attend and participate in meetings.
• Must be able to use a computer and other digital tools for communication and reporting.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in project management, education management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 4+ years of experience managing projects, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of project implementation, budgeting, and team leadership.
• Commitment to Win’s mission and experience working with underserved populations.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PMDPro).
• Experience in education or social impact projects, especially in crisis or shelter environments.
• Strategic thinking and familiarity with education intervention strategies.
• Proficiency in Spanish.
