Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Private Credit Senior Product Manager with extensive experience in financial technology focused on private credit solutions. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with our Sales, Product, Operations, and Services teams to strategically implement a high-level roadmap for our new Private Credit product line. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and articulating the overall vision for this asset class, developing user personas, documenting workflows, and creating clear and concise business requirements that meet the needs of our clients. You will report to the Head of Private Markets and be instrumental in identifying market problems, leveraging your expertise in private credit, and guiding cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Management: Analyze the competitive landscape, collaborate with internal and external influencers, and partner with sales teams to develop scalable and repeatable solutions for private credit.

Client Engagement: Work with product and solution teams to grasp client requirements, challenges, and the operational enhancements that leveraging Clearwater solutions will bring.

Industry Expertise: Stay updated on industry changes and serve as an industry expert representing Clearwater’s interests and capabilities in private credit.

Feature Development: Collaborate with the development team to design and build features, ensuring the team understands the business value of each feature.

Requirements Documentation: Create detailed product requirements and manage the development process using JIRA.

Product Design: Utilize asset class expertise to design products and features relevant to private credit within the Clearwater ecosystem.

Roadmap Communication: Clearly communicate the product roadmap to internal and external stakeholders, highlighting new functionalities upon release.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with various internal teams regarding the product’s use cases and future enhancements.

Performance Measurement: Evaluate and measure the success of new feature releases and gather feedback for continuous improvement.

Offering Definition: Collaborate with marketing to define the offering for private credit and update relevant materials.

Development Prioritization: Work with product owners to translate capabilities into development-ready products and manage prioritization of development projects.

Training and Support: Conduct training sessions for users on new product functionality and ensure ongoing support.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in product management or solutions leadership roles within financial services or financial technology, with a focus on private credit or alternative investments.

• Proven experience in private credit, including knowledge of derivatives, collateral management, bank loans, or investment portfolio data aggregation. • Demonstrated history of successfully mentoring and leading product/specialist teams.

• Strong understanding of industry challenges, including regulatory compliance and regional market dynamics.

• Client-centric mindset with a commitment to delivering solutions that drive client success.

• Proficiency in MS Office and Salesforce.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts simply.

• Strong analytical and organizational skills with a proven ability to synthesize and communicate data analysis results.

Education and Experience:   

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or similar field or relevant experience in Investment. Management, Insurance, FinTech, Investment Accounting, Financial Services, or Investment Operations.

Salary Range

$179,400.00 - $243,136.45

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health/vision/dental insurance, 401(k), PTO, parental leave, and medical leave, STD/LTD insurance benefits.
