We currently have a very exciting opportunity available with our client for a Talent Sourcer. This will be a fully remote role , and will begin as a 3 -month contract with the possibility of extension.
The main function of a Talent Sourcer is to seek out and screen applicants to fill existing and future job openings and promote career opportunities within an organization. A typical sourcer is responsible for finding new talent to bring to an organization.
Responsibilities
Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast of current and future hiring and business needs.
Perform searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria, using computer database, networking, Internet recruiting resources, cold calls, media and employee referrals.
Screen applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education and job skills.
Prepare and maintain employment records.
Contact applicants to inform them of employment possibilities, consideration, and selection.
Inform potential applicants about facilities, operations, benefits, and job or career opportunities in organizations.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in human resources or equivalent training required.
2+ years of talent sourcing experience.
2+ years of experience with Corporate Functions talent sourcing – Finance, Legal, HR, Ops
Prefer experience with hiring technical roles – data scientist, software engineer, in addition to Corporate Functions sourcing experience.
Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools, inclusive of creating sourcing strategies.
Experience with market insights and documenting/presenting insights for Recruiters, hiring managers and business leadership.
Must have experience working directly with hiring managers and business leaders
Verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
Basic knowledge of legal policies and procedures related to hiring practices and other work - related activities.
Basic knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection and training.
Basic knowledge business and management principles involved in strategic planning.
Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
Pay Range
Pay range for this position will be $ 36.00 to $ 43.19 per hour . Compensation will vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This rate is subject to change.
