Overview

A world leader in innovative, casual footwear, Crocs, Inc., is dedicated to the future of comfort. Our original and most famous style, the Classic Clog, is instantly recognized around the world — and for good reason: since 2002, we’ve sold more than 600 million pairs in over 90 countries! We achieved our status as a global leader in the casual footwear category by taking an inherently simple approach to uniting style, modern comfort, and value.

Every day, we make a choice to have an open mind and look on the bright and colorful side of life. We embrace and celebrate the uniqueness in everyone, inviting the world to Come As You Are!

The User Experience Designer plays a key role in crafting the visual and interactive expression of Crocs, Inc.'s global ecommerce platforms! Focused on optimizing usability, accessibility, and conversion, this role combines critical thinking with meticulous attention to design detail.

This global role will collaborate cross-functionally with digital product managers, developers, content strategists, and brand teams to bring engaging, consistent, and intuitive interfaces to life for the Crocs and HEYDUDE brands. By using user insights, design systems, and brand guidelines, you will contribute to delivering a visually compelling and frictionless shopping experience that meets the expectations of millions of customers across regions.

What You'll Do

  • Design high-fidelity, visually polished user interfaces that align with brand guidelines and elevate digital experiences.
  • Create detailed page layouts, component states, iconography, visual hierarchies, and micro-interactions that bring designs to life.
  • Develop responsive design solutions optimized for desktop, tablet, mobile, and app platforms with pixel-perfect precision.
  • Collaborate closely with brand, creative, and marketing teams to ensure consistency in visual identity across all digital touchpoints.
  • Translate wireframes, concepts, and requirements into clean, scalable UI designs ready for development.
  • Work with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs across environments, providing visual specifications and interaction details.
  • Participate in cross-functional design reviews, sharing rationale behind decisions and refining based on feedback.
  • Contribute to and help evolve Crocs’ global design system—building, documenting, and maintaining reusable components and patterns.
  • Partner with front-end engineers to maintain a robust component library, ensuring scalability and consistency in future builds.
  • Apply responsive and accessible design principles to ensure inclusivity and usability across diverse audiences and devices.
  • Monitor technical constraints and performance considerations, ensuring UI designs are optimized for speed and implementation feasibility.
  • Support A/B testing and personalization initiatives by designing modular UI components adaptable to various test conditions.
  • Stay current with UI design trends, tools, frameworks, and platform-specific patterns to push visual design forward.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related degree.
  • 2+ years of experience designing interfaces for consumer-facing websites or apps, preferably in ecommerce or retail.
  • Preferred Certifications: Google UX Design Certificate, Nielsen Norman Group UX Certification, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) Certificate and Adobe Certified Professional – UX Design.
  • Proven experience working in a collaborative product design environment with UX, product, and engineering teams.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing design thinking, UI execution, and responsive design across multiple device types.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma (design systems, prototypes, components), Adobe Creative Suite, and other design/prototyping tools.
  • Understanding of HTML/CSS and how designs are implemented technically.
  • Shown proficiency in accessibility standards and responsive design concepts.
  • Familiarity with testing platforms (e.g., Optimizely, AB Tasty) and how design supports experimentation and personalization.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to present design rationale to stakeholders across all levels.
  • Passion for user-centric design and a focus on attention to detail in layout, typography, and visual storytelling.

The Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to a diverse and inclusive work environment. We accept applications on an ongoing basis.

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or disability, or any other classification protected by law.
