Job Description

Do you have a passion for understanding people and shaping exceptional user experiences? At Sage, UX Research isn't just about gathering data; it’s about uncovering insights that drive meaningful product innovation.

As a Graduate UX Researcher, you’ll be at the heart of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, working alongside UX designers, solution designers, and content specialists. You’ll dive into the minds of our users, exploring their needs, behaviors, and emotions through qualitative and quantitative research. Whether it’s conducting interviews, leading usability tests, analyzing surveys, or testing early prototypes, your work will shape the future of our products and ensure they truly serve small business owners and their employees.

This role is perfect for someone eager to begin their career in UX research. You may have hands-on experience through education, internships, or personal projects. What matters most is your curiosity, analytical mindset, and willingness to learn. You’ll receive guidance from experienced researchers while having plenty of opportunities to contribute and grow.

Join us at Sage and help craft intuitive, insightful experiences that make a real impact.

  • Planning and executing user research in an agile development process using both qualitative and quantitative methods and analysis.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to conduct research studies through understanding the business needs, research goals, and target customers.
  • Identifying and prioritizing actionable results based on research.
  • Communicating detailed research findings and ensure the insights are translated into actionable direction through presentations, posters, graphics, displays, workshops, wireframes, etc.
  • Using a wide range of research methods, including ethnography/field research, participatory design, persona development, journey maps, interviews, concept testing, surveys, diary studies, usability studies, data analytics, etc.

What are we looking for?

You’ll need to be a recent graduate, ideally in Human Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology, Human Factors, Information Science, or in a related field. We’re open to different backgrounds, but the following skills will help you thrive,

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills to conduct in-person interviews, as well as remote user studies.
  • Exceptional observational skills to discover user motivations, obstacles, emotions, and needs beyond what is verbally communicated.
  • Experience with data analysis and how to meaningfully convey research findings and insights with details, clarity, objectivity, and transparency.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and persuasion skills with cross-functional teams and stakeholders; some experience working in a collaborative team.
  • Innate curiosity and deep empathy for customers.
  • Strong bias for action; ability to juggle multiple priorities and deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

This role will be based from our Ponce City office and is hybrid, so you will be in the office 2-3 days pre week.

What you can expect from the process

  • Apply online with a resume
  • Complete screening and video interview (You will receive a link to complete a video interview after applying)
  • If successful at video interview stage, you will be invited to attend an assessment centre at the end of July.
  • Successful candidates will join us in October 2025

Please note that due to the high volume of application, there will be a delay in receiving a response from your video interview. We thank you for your patience.

Here at Sage, we are committed to inclusivity for all, so if there any adjustments that would help you thrive in the application process or beyond, please reach out to us at earlycareers@sage.com
