Brown & Brown is seeking an Administrative Associate to join our growing team in Mandeville, LA!
The Administrative Associate reports to a manager or director, individuals whose primary responsibility involves data entry, general clerical duties, including switchboard operation, and assistance to staff as needed. Employees are supervised closely and generally perform routine or repetitive tasks of a clerical or administrative nature.
How You Will Contribute:
Answer phones, routes callers, take and deliver messages, process and distribute mail, post payments, make collection calls for payments.
Perform routine clerical tasks including typing, data entry, filing and operating office machines.
Insurance policy processing, checking, and distributing in a timely manner.
Maintains files, records, or reports.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Experience to Be Successful:
High School Diploma required
Associate or bachelor’s degree in a business or financial related discipline (preferred)
1-3 years’ experience in a similar position (preferred)
Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Exceptional telephone demeanor
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
