Custodial Maintenance Worker

PGS Worldwide is actively seeking a Custodial Maintenance Worker to support facility operations in a fast-paced defense environment at Fort Bragg, NC. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong custodial background who are also comfortable performing general maintenance tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform cleaning and custodial duties in facility areas to ensure a safe, clean, and functional work environment

• Assist in general maintenance tasks, including basic repairs to buildings and equipment

• Replace or repair fixtures such as electrical receptacles, switches, sinks, toilets, and water coolers

• Patch minor holes in walls, paint surfaces, and help maintain flooring (tiles, concrete)

• Support upkeep of doors, locks, and windows

• Follow all safety procedures and company policies while maintaining tools and equipment

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Prior custodial experience is required

• Basic mechanical or maintenance knowledge (painting, plumbing, light electrical, etc.)

• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods

• Must be a U.S. citizen (due to federal contract requirements)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a facilities maintenance or janitorial role on a government or military installation

• Familiarity with general building systems

• Strong communication and organizational skills
