Syndax Pharmaceuticals is looking for an Associate Director, Global Field Medical Operations

The Role: 

The Associate Director, Global Field Medical Operations will serve as a key member of the Medical Affairs team, playing an important role in driving the success of the medical field teams to ensure the highest standards of scientific engagement with healthcare professionals. This individual will develop and implement resources to enhance departmental effectiveness, track key metrics to prioritized tactics and drive excellence across the US Field medical teams.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • In collaboration with the Director for Medical Field Training and Excellence and other stakeholders, develop and implement Field Medical standards and processes.
  • Field Responsibilities: Tool implementation and evaluation, tier 1 and 2 congress coverage, KOL support, call center and HUB support, territory strategy and mapping to align with cross functional partners.
  • Optimize field medical adoption of data analytics and digital tools to enhance data-driven field medical external engagement planning and execution.
  • Assist with design and maintenance of Field Medical Affairs activities dashboards and reports to accurately measure the impact of tactics.
  • Revumenib Launch Support: align metrics to tactics, quantify field activity for reporting, quantify and collate launch related insights to support strategy, monitor documentation of launch related tactics for quality and training
  • Support Veeva system and PowerBI implementation and enhancements.
  • Assist with design, implementation and execution of department-wide processes and SOP development.
  • Oversee field medical affairs KOL/HCP engagement monitoring, ensuring documentation is completed on time, appropriately maintained, and reported to stakeholders. Align documentation to tactics from the medical affairs strategy team.
  • Collaborate with Medical Affairs Leadership Team and cross-functional partners to ensure consistent insight topics of interest are documented, quantified and escalated appropriately.

 

Desired Experience/Education and Personal Attributes:

  • 5 years of project management and/or operations experience, preferably in Medical Affairs.
  • Proficiency and experience with technology, analytics, and ability to communicate effectively.
  • Proven track record of implementing digital tools and processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Proven record of strategic and analytical thinking, innovation, project leadership, and change implementation.
  • Experience managing vendors to ensure work is delivered on time and on budget.
  • Demonstrated understanding of compliance, ethical, legal, and regulatory guidelines impacting the pharmaceutical industry, Medical Affairs, and Field Medical.
  • Experience with Veeva CRM, SmartSheet, PowerBI and other platforms.
  • Oncology experience strongly preferred.

 

Location: Syndax’s corporate office is in New York, NY.

 

Syndax offers a total compensation and rewards package that is among the most competitive in the industry. Base pay is just one element of our package and is determined within a range based on several factors including market data, experience, qualifications, demonstrated skills, relevant education or training, travel requirements and internal equity. Our overall package also includes an equity offering, annual target bonuses, and an outstanding benefits program. The anticipated annualized salary range for this role is $190,000 -$215,000.
