Chief Operating Officer (COO) Cargo & Freight Sector

What You'll Be Responsible For:

Leading daily operations across air and road freight divisions
Driving performance, process improvement, and operational efficiency
Managing budgets, contracts, risk, and compliance across all business functions
Partnering with the CEO to define and execute strategic growth plans
Leading and mentoring teams while building a strong, values-driven culture
Enhancing customer experience and service delivery
Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies

What You Bring:

10+ years of experience in the transport industry (air & road freight a plus)
At least 5 years in a senior leadership/COO-level role
A solid grasp of operations, supply chain, finance, and customer service
Proven track record in risk management, compliance, and performance analysis
Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills
Hands-on experience with operational systems, budgets, and reporting tools
Ability to work under pressure, after-hours, and manage cross-functional teams

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Transport, or related field
Experience with CRM, ERP, and financial systems
Strong data analytics and reporting ability
Deep understanding of cost control, revenue management, and team productivity
High proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
