Role & Objective

We are seeking a talented MATLAB Developer/Control Engineer in Egypt, to help us in the modernization of an existing financial forecasting tool developed in MATLAB. The role within this project involves data processing and developing a Graphical User Interface (GUI) Module. The role also involves developing control systems algorithms for our current R&D projects.

Core Responsibilities

B.Sc. degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field.

Develop and maintain MATLAB code-base that automates data ingestion, model execution and professional reporting (charts, Excel, PDF) for a multi-block forecasting platform.

Build user-friendly GUIs in MATLABeither with App Designer or fully programmatic uifigure codeto let domain experts explore data, adjust parameters and run scenarios

Guarantee reproducibility and quality through Git versioning, automated run logging and comprehensive English code documentation / inline comments

Work in agile sprints; optionally prototype battery-management algorithms (SoC/SOH, cell balancing) when main workload allows

Must-Have Skills

2-5 years of hands-on experience MATLAB development, especially in data- or model-driven algorithms & GUI design

Proficiency in building GUIs in MATLAB (App Designer or custom uifigure scripts).

Solid grasp of software-engineering best practice: modular design, unit testing, Git version control and basic CI.

Comfortable working within agile workflows and issue-tracking systems.

Excellent written and spoken English; able to document code clearly and concisely. environments.

Experience with large data pipelines, SQL/REST integrations or Dynare.

Exposure to automotive BMS or ISO 26262 functional-safety practices, ISO 27001-related reporting.
