Vantage MedTech is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Director of Accounting to lead our accounting function and support the Company’s continued growth. The Director of Accounting will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Company’s accounting operations, including financial reporting, cost accounting, month-end closing, audit and tax compliance, etc. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in manufacturing cost structures and professional services revenue recognition, and thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
Oversee general ledger activities, account reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, inventory, and fixed asset management.
Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
Drive cost accounting initiatives, including inventory valuation, standard costing, overhead absorption, and variance analysis.
Monitor and analyze project and contract accounting for professional services, ensuring compliance with ASC 606.
Coordinate external audits and manage relationships with auditors and tax advisors.
Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls and accounting policies.
Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals.
Support ERP system enhancements and financial system upgrades.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Tech Services, and HR to support business initiatives.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 5 years in leadership or a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting standards.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
Proficiency in ERP systems such as NetSuite, Syteline, or Microsoft Dynamics.
Advanced Excel skills and strong data analysis capabilities.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and alignment with company values.
Hands-on cost accounting experience preferred.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies is also preferred.
Experience with project accounting and revenue recognition under ASC 606 is not required but highly desirable.
