POSITION OVERVIEW

We're looking for a marketing automation platform expert to be part of an agile team, documenting user stories and acceptance criteria, in all phases of the project to replace BDC's marketing automation tools in a large-scale project. The candidate must also be meticulous in testing and identifying problems.

CHALLENGES TO BE MET

The expert must have experience of a marketing automation application.

This role involves working closely with stakeholders to align product objectives with user needs and business strategies, as well as compiling all the necessary documentation and disseminating it to the development teams.

  • Manage and prioritize the backlog with the Product Owner to meet project needs.

  • Work closely with the development team to ensure that requirements are understood and correctly implemented.

  • Execute detailed test plans and test cases to ensure product quality.

  • Identify, record, document and track bugs and defects.

  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily scrums, scrums of scrums, sprint reviews and retrospectives.

  • Train and coach colleagues to perform user validation tests (UAT).

  • Ensure clear, ongoing communication with stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Ensure that deadlines are met in each sprint.

  • Align the product with project objectives by evaluating its performance.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, computer science or a related field.

  • Minimum of five years' experience in marketing automation.

  • Solid experience in setting up and configuring marketing automation platforms.

  • Advanced knowledge of marketing automation or CRM systems

  • Previous experience in an Agile environment (SCRUM) highly desirable and as a Product Owner an asset.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in French and English.

  • Ability to demonstrate strong analytical thinking, autonomy and attention to detail.

  • Good knowledge of backlog management tools and marketing automation platforms.

  • In-depth understanding of digital channels and marketing strategies.

  • Solid experience in an end-to-end project delivery team for digital products.

  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, data analysis and Web content management systems an asset.

  • Knowledge of the Power suite (Power BI, Power Automate, Power App) an asset
